Applicants wishing to apply for a foreign language development grant can now submit their aaplications online on the MonGuichet.mc portal.
Conditions
Applicants must be:
- Enrolled at a secondary or post-secondary school
- Be a Monegasque national, the spouse of a Monegasque national, a foreign national dependent of a Monegasque national, a foreign national or orphan dependent of a civil servant or of an employee of a public institution or a French authority based in the Principality in accordance with a Treaty for at least five years, having worked or retired, or a foreign national who has resided in Monaco for at least ten years, consecutively
Secondary school applicants are eligible if they are enrolled in school in the Principality at the time the application is submitted and if the language requested is taught at a public or private learning establishment in Monaco. Post-secondary applicants must choose a language that is related to their programme of study.
Types of stay
- Secondary school students have the following options:
- Five stays ranging in length from two weeks to two months (outside their school schedule)
- An unlimited number of stays for students in “English Plus”, “European Section” and “International Section” programmes, ranging in length from two weeks to two months
- Post-secondary students have the following options:
- Two stays ranging in length from two weeks to two months
- One stay ranging in length from two months to one year (equal to one academic year, can be divided)
Deadline
All admissions, even incomplete ones, must be submitted online or submitted in person at the Department of Education, Youth and Sport (a receipt will be provided) no later than 2 pm on the last Friday in August of the year of the application.
